This notice explains how Scarborough Hot Tub Repairs (“we”, “us”) handles personal data you provide when you submit a hot-tub repair or servicing enquiry.

We collect only what we need to handle your enquiry:

• Your name, email and phone number.
• Your postcode and property type.
• Hot-tub make, model and approximate age (if you provide them).
• The fault category, any error code and the details you describe.
• Your preferred contact method and time.

Please do not send medical, financial or other sensitive information — it is not needed for a repair enquiry.

Why we use it

We use your details to review your enquiry and, where suitable coverage is available, to pass it to one independent hot-tub repair provider so they can respond to you. We also keep aggregate, non-identifying information (such as fault types and general area) to understand demand.

Who we share it with

Where suitable coverage is available, we share your enquiry and contact details with one suitable independent hot-tub repair provider so they can contact you about your enquiry. We do not sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing. We do not share it with multiple providers or with unrelated third parties.

Lawful basis

We process your enquiry to take steps at your request and, where you have agreed, share it with one suitable independent repair provider. We also rely on legitimate interests to prevent abuse and keep a minimal record of how the request was handled.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry data for 12 months after your enquiry, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You have rights over your personal data, including access, correction, deletion and objection. To exercise them, contact hello@myownagent.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and does not load third-party form or measurement services. Only essential functionality needed to submit the form is used.

Changes

We may update this notice. If a named provider becomes the default recipient of enquiries, we will update this notice so the sharing information stays accurate.
